The Bhagavad Gita is one of India’s ancient texts and is derived from the epic poem,The Mahabharata. This still stands as the longest poem ever written, with over 200,000 verses. Though only a part of The Mahabharata, the Bhagavad Gita is perhaps one of the most important and highly revered yogic texts ever to have been written. It is a book of profound teachings that apply to the human problems of our contemporary world as much as they did at the Gita's inception over 3,000 years ago.
The Bhagavad Gita (along with the Yoga Sutras) is also one of the two primary books that delineate the original Yoga teachings of India. It is used by many yoga teachers in their training programs worldwide. Ranchor Prime, an English (UK) author, broadcaster, and ecological activist, initially wrote this edition for his children, but it is far from a childish book. Rather, he has created a version of this classic that is accessible to an adult Western audience in a way that few of the hundreds of editions translated from the original Sanskrit have been.
At its heart, the Gita deals with the mysteries of life: the nature of the Self, the Universe/Higher Power, and the World. Returns & Exchanges
Covid 19:
Please note if returning items by post there may be a delay in processing due to lockdown and studio closure. All returns will be processed on receipt and inspection of items.
Yogahub accepts returns by post up to 30 days from the delivery date for merchandise purchased on https://shop.theyogahub.ie/.
Yogahub does not cover the cost of return shipping.
Yogahub is not responsible for any lost returns. We recommend a shipping method with a proof of delivery or tracking number.
Props and Mats Return Policy:
Yogahub is unable to accept returns for items that have been used, altered or damaged after being received.
For Example:
- Creases/Folds from improper handling and/or storing.
- Damage from excessive amounts of water or other liquids
- Improper cleaning (i.e. harsh chemicals, damage from a washing machine)
- Damage from use other than yoga or similar fitness activities.
- Uneven colour patterns or discolouration due to use.
- Damage from outside elements/factors that puncture or deface the mat.
Apparel Return Policy:
Yogahub accepts returns up to 30 days from the delivery date for apparel purchased on shop.theyogahub.ie.
Yogahub is unable to accept returns for apparel that has been altered or damaged after being received. Items must be unwashed and unworn, clean, and all hangtags must be attached. Please note all apparel items are subject to inspection.
Refunds
If your return passes inspection we will issue a refund for the returned items. Once a refund has been complete it can take up to and including 2-5 business days to arrive in your account. Please note these are not our timelines but are depending on our banking partner’s terms and conditions. We do NOT cover the cost of return shipping.
